Our restaurant is named after the Alemannic writer, theologian and pedagogue Johann Peter Hebel, who was born in Basel in 1760 and is considered a pioneer of the Alemannic oral literature due to his poem “Alemannische Gedichte”. Johann Peter Hebel loved his homeland and played a decisive role in the society of the region.
The à-la-carte Restaurant Hebel has 138 seats. Enjoy a delicious three-course menu of fresh, regional and healthy products. Here you will find spectacular traditional cuisine, interpreted in a modern and refined way. Refreshing wines from the region round off the culinary offer and spoil your taste buds. The clear lines of the interiors as well as the interplay of tranquil materials and discreet colors create a pleasant harmony with unobtrusive elegance.
On Sundays, we offer an attractive brunch with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes from 12:00. Meet friends and family for the brunch and end the week in a relaxed atmosphere.
